Red Pine Outdoor Equipment was established in 1990. Bob started the company in the smallest bedroom of the family’s home. Every step of the way they made certain that each and every product carried met his high standards. Even today Bob tests almost all of the new products we introduce – from the smallest LED light to GPS systems – making sure that they are durable, functional and good value. He continually tests Red Pine’s products on his many river trips – the Thelon,  Nahanni, Wind, Bloodvein and the Petawawa, to name a few.

Bob’s family has always been supportive of the company’s growth. His boys have grown up with Red Pine – getting involved in both the business and the enjoyment and appreciation of the outdoors that Bob encourages.

Commitment to the environment drives every aspect of our business. That is why Red Pine made the switch to Bullfrog Power in 2007. Bullfrog Power is the only electricity retailer in Ontario that buys power exclusively from wind and low-impact hydro generators.

Today, Red Pine Outdoor Equipment occupies two warehouses and an office front. We have over 750 customers across Canada. No matter how large we get, Bob, and the Red Pine team will continue to place the highest priority on ensuring that our customers are satisfied with our products and service.

The Riverstones Nahanni Canoe Paddles and Seascape Touring Kayak Paddles have arrived!  Canoe Paddles are available in both curved and straight blade styles in 54, 56, 58, 60, 62 and 64-inch sizes, while the kayak paddles are available in 210, 220 and 230-cm lengths.
